TECHNOLOGY ENGINEER

PRE-CONSTRUCTION MANAGER

Due to new contract wins and continued success in the market, we are looking for a Pre-Construction Manager to join our team on a permanent basis.

The successful candidate should have at least 5 years’ experience in an Estimator role and ideally have previous line-management experience. Ideally you should have a background in either Civil works, Highways, Street lighting or Utilities and have experience of NEC 3/4 contracts.

You’ll be based from our head office and yard depot in Podington, Northamptonshire.

HR ADVISOR

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified HR Advisor looking to take the next step in their career and join our ambitious and growing team.

The successful candidate will offer advice and support to both managers and employees, on all employee relations matters, such as recruitment, induction, absence and performance management, disciplinary, grievance and any HR policy requirements. 

You will be heavily involved in managing first and second line HR queries; mainly operational type HR matters that require advice to ensure that we operate in line with employment law and our policy commitments, and that high standards are adopted and met through all aspects of HR within the business.

INSTALLATION OPERATIVE

Day to day duties would include excavation (both hand and machine), concreting, post & sign erection, working from MEWPS, lighting column/ ducting installation, cable pulling and assisting within the operational logistics of driving vehicles, plant and machinery.

Traffic Signage/ Street Lighting experience is favoured (but not essential) for the position, along with any relevant tickets such as CSCS/ CPCS cards, digger, lorry loader, IPAF or HGV. A full UK driving licence and flexible working hours are essential. You’ll be based from our head office and yard depot in Podington, Northamptonshire and shifts will include night-work and occasional staying away.

LV JOINTER

We require an LV Jointer to join our expanding ICP team who has the necessary authorisation codes to work upon the NPG network. Principally you will be connecting street lighting and technology assets throughout the North East & Yorkshire.  

It would be desirable for the applicant to be a trained electrician with highways experience to a minimum of a NVQ Level 2. You will be based out of our regional depot in Newton Aycliffe and the company offers competitive rates of pay with a generous training and development programme.

QUANTITY SURVEYOR

We have an exciting opportunity for a qualified Quantity Surveyor looking to take the next step in their career and join our ambitious and growing team.

This role is instrumental to our core team and our continued growth. As such, we are keen to meet individuals who relish working autonomously as well as being part of the wider MSF team. This position provides the opportunity for the successful candidate to take on increased responsibility as our business continues to expand. 

ELECTRICIAN

Day to day duties would include SWA electrical terminations into lighting columns and feeder pillars, wiring lanterns, testing & inspecting on street furniture, fault finding, cable pulling, working from MEWPS and assisting within the operational logistics of driving vehicles.

Electrical Street Lighting experience is favoured for the position but not essential, along with any relevant tickets such as CSCS/ CPCS cards, Street works, IPAF, G39, City & Guilds/ NVQ or equivalent in electrical installations. A full UK Driving Licence and flexible working hours are essential. You’ll be based from our head office and yard depot in Podington, Northamptonshire and shifts will include night-work and occasional staying away.
