Wellbeing & Community

Fatigue management and staff wellbeing

Staff wellbeing and fatigue management is something MSF takes very seriously and we work hard to ensure our staff enjoy the correct balance of life and work.

Fatigue management is crucial to our business, particularly with regards to night working, so we work hard to minimise working away, and endeavour to get our teams home to their families each night.

In addition, we recently opened a new office in Darlington to service contracts in the North of England and Scotland which will help to reduce staff travel time even further.

Supporting Kidsafe

At MSF we are very proud to have been certified as a Silver Supporter of the Kidsafe initiative.

Kidsafe is an organisation that as the name suggests are actively committed to helping keep kids safe across the UK and Eire. Our children’s safety is unfortunately a major issue these days, not only for parents and teachers but also for everybody.

The philosophy at Kidsafe is to make children more aware of the dangers they face without destroying their sense of adventure. Therefore, we believe the best approach is to make learning about safety fun.

We welcome you all to view our certificate here, and support the organisation by visiting their website below.

Teambuilding events

Each year Team MSF take on It’s a Knockout in support of the Cynthia Spencer Hospice. The event involves a full day of teambuilding activities and employees from across the business take part.

MSF’s Finance Director Cat Venters said: “This event is a great teambuilding exercise for our staff, and gets them out of the office or off site for a day. It’s also great to support our local community, and raise a bit of money for the hospice.”

The Cynthia Spencer Hospice provides specialist palliative care for people diagnosed with life-limiting and terminal illnesses and their families at the Hospice in Northampton and across Northamptonshire through its Community Nursing and Hospice at Home Care Teams.
