A13 Remotely Operated Temporary Traffic Management Signs

MSF worked closely with Connect Plus and Jackson Civil Engineering to install 16 ROTTM signs on the A13 between the M25 intersections on both the east and westbound carriageways.

Value Engineering

On reviewing the design, MSF’s team identified that three of the cabinets specified were surplus to requirements, as three of the new signs were located close to an existing NRTS 600 cabinet. In addition to the £15k capital cost saving generated, this value engineered design has saved additional energy consumption as each cabinet requires a heater to maintain ambient temperature of 18°c in order to protect the electronic equipment.
